日本長期滞在査証

米国に帰化し、現在引退生活の元日本人です。未だ足腰が立つうちに２～３年再度日本で住んでみたいと思い領事館から資料をとりよせました。それによりますと身元保証人を立てることになっており、それには保証人の納税証明書又は銀行残高証明書を提出すべきとなっています。残念ながら斯様な文書の提出を依頼出来るような親戚、友人は小生にも家内にもおりません。
そこでお尋ねしたいことは、保証人を使わない代替の方法があるのではないかと思い何方か実例をご存じでしたらお教えください。
