Nippon Club Culture Course "Seasonal Flower Arrangements

Create seasonal flower arrangements in a workshop-style class.

Students will create an arrangement of seasonal flowers in a workshop style class. You will learn how to prepare the flowers to be used, explain the recipe, and use basic tools, as well as tips on how to arrange and balance the flowers beautifully. Each class is one session at a time, but each of the three sessions will introduce a different method （ including the use of tape and wire ）, so it is possible to take the class as a series.

Instructor ： Makiko Takeuchi
Floral and event designer. After working as a freelancer for various floral studios and retail stores in New York City, she worked as an event designer for Armani, Paul • Taylor • Dance Company, and many other parties and weddings while working for Ovando for several years. Currently, she works as a designer at Elan • Flowers in SOHO. She has designed a wide variety of floral arrangements to meet the needs of her clients, including modern and natural styles, as well as fresh flower arrangements.
