[How the seminar was realized] I became aware of the problem of Mental Helath Problems of teenagers, which has further increased since the pandemic, and wondered if there was anything I could do to help, This seminar was made possible by a high school student in San Diego who emailed the Mental Health Initiative of the NIMHD (, a government agency affiliated with the NIH ), asking if there was anything she could do to help. She was introduced to the Asian Pacific American Officers Committee (APAOC), to which the lecturer of this seminar belongs, and asked them to hold a seminar to raise awareness about "Mental Health of Teenagers". She was connected to the Porto Kai.
