Gallery Talk "Artistic Expressions of Washi: From Tradition to the Future

The Japan Gallery will hold a "Gallery Talk" event （ free ） in connection with the Nippon Club's special exhibition "Artistic Expressions of Washi: From Tradition to the Future" starting January 30.

The Japan Gallery will hold a "Gallery Talk" on February 1 （ Sat ） from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in connection with the Nippon Club's special exhibition "Artistic Expressions on Washi: From Tradition to the Future", which will be held from January 30.

In this Gallery Talk, Professor Koji Shibasaki （ Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music ） and Dr. Mikako Suzuki （ Japanese painter ） will discuss the evolution of washi from traditional techniques to contemporary artistic expression and the background of the works on display. We invite you to a special moment to experience the profound fascination of washi.
