Election Day
Election Day is Tuesday, June 23rd. Polls are open from 6:00 am - 9:00 pm. Find your polling site here (http://nyc.pollsitelocator.com) or call 1-866-VOTE-NYC (1-866-868-3692) (tel:1-866-868-3692) .

Voting Safely

As NYC faces unprecedented challenges in the fight against COVID-19, we must also remember that there is a critical step each of us must take to build a better future for our City - complete the 2020 Census (https://gcc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmy2020census.gov%2F&data=02%7C01%7CGFeliciano%40veterans.nyc.gov%7C535eb18cc68643594ea008d812d49811%7C32f56fc75f814e22a95b15da66513bef%7C0%7C0%7C637280051589379414&sdata=O51cMNYlTLujhe011knOC%2FJFHMfBnZWvO7UGYy9fook%3D&reserved=0) .

The census determines how the federal government allocates hundreds of billions of dollars every year to states and cities for programs including education, housing, transportation, and healthcare. The census also determines the number of seats New York State is allocated in Congress, as well as our local and state legislative district lines.

In addition to returning your census form by mail, you can also fill out the census online at
