Nippon Club Culture Course Spring ： Seasonal Flower Arrangement

Create an arrangement of seasonal flowers in a workshop style class so you can decorate your home with flowers ！.

Students will create an arrangement of seasonal flowers in a workshop style class. You will learn how to prepare the flowers to be used, explain the recipe, and use basic tools, as well as tips on how to arrange and balance the flowers beautifully. Each class is one at a time, but each class will introduce a different method （ including the use of tape and wire ）, so it is possible to take the class as a series.

*The images are samples. We will prepare fresh flowers in season at the market for the type and color of flowers.

What to bring on the day
- Flower scissors （ only if you already have them ） If you do not have them, you can buy them from the instructor （ $ 35) or borrow them.
- Regular scissors
- Small towel
- Wide bottom paper bag or bag （ to take the arrangement home ）
- Writing utensils and apron if desired

■ Fee ： $ 35 1-lesson, materials fee （ includes vase ） ： $ 40
This is a per day course. （ No registration fee is required. ）

Instructor ： Makiko Takeuchi
Flower designer, Event designer. After working as a freelancer for various floral studios and retail stores in New York City, she worked as an event designer for Armani, Paul • Taylor • Dance Company and many other parties and weddings while working for Ovando for several years. Currently, she is the lead designer for Rachel • Cho • Flowers. She has designed event designs and gift arrangements for various fashion and corporate parties, weddings, etc. She has designed a wide variety of floral arrangements to meet the needs of her clients, including modern and natural styles, as well as fresh flower arrangements.
