Martha ・ Blackwelder, curator of the current "Top Secret The curator, Martha Blackwelder, will join us on stage to explain more about the works in the exhibition. ( This event will be held in English. ) This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the artworks in depth. We hope you will enjoy this new encounter with art. We look forward to seeing you at this event.

The Japanese art collection of Paul ・ Jenkins and his wife Suzanne, a leading American abstract expressionist painter, will be unveiled at the Japan The Japanese art collection of Paul Jenkins and his wife Suzanne will finally be unveiled at the Japan Gallery. The exhibition brings together over 80 objects from their studios in New York and Paris, including netsuke, ukiyo-e, Noh masks, kyogen masks, and rare bunraku puppet heads. Along with Jackson ・ Pollock and Mark ・ Rothko, Jenkins was a lifelong lover and collector of Japanese art, and this exhibition will showcase the essence of his work. This exhibition showcases Jenkins' deep connection to Japan throughout his life, and will include works by his mentor, Yasuo Kuniyoshi, along with a selection of his best works.
