However, when returning to the U.S., the name on my green card, Hanako Smith, is different from my name on my green card, so I get an X at the immigration kiosk, which is a hassle. I live in the United States. I have removed my certificate of residence in Japan, but left my shares deposited in an account at a Japanese brokerage firm.

From Japan, mails sent to a Gmail address from a mobile carrier or Yahoo mail may not be received.
The other party sent the message without bouncing it, but we did not receive it.

今年もタックスリターンの申告のシーズンがきました。

日本から、アメリカにビザにて入国された方は、最初の１－２年の
タックスリターンは、アメリカ人のように１０４０にての申告とは
違い、Non Residentとしての申告が必要な方がいます。

さらに、その期間が過ぎても最初の年は、１０４０と１０４０NR
によるDual Statusにての申告が必要な方もいます。

さらに、帰国された場合でも、一年の内の何か月かアメリカに
滞在した方は日本からの申告も必要になります。

アメリカに来て最初の申告を迎えるかた、さらに、今年帰国される
方、去年帰国された方等、申告に関しては通常の方法ではないので
ご質問があれば、お答えいたします。
