In the past, Ichihara City was the political ・ and economic center of Kamiaso Province, and many people came to the city. The Joso Ichihara Kokufu Festival is a festival that transcends the millennium, where people gather from all over the city and beyond to wish for prosperity and happiness together.
This year, the festival will be held under the theme of "Connecting Together Ichihara's Future" to mark the 60th anniversary of the city's incorporation.

September 30 （ Sat ） A pre-event "Talk Event" will also be held at the Joso Ichihara Kokufu Festival site, prior to "Engine 01 in Ichihara" in Ichihara City.
Economic commentator Kazuyo Katsuma, manga artist Akiko Higashimura, and Ichihara City Mayor Koide will appear on stage to talk about "What's Engine 01 in Ichihara ？" and the theme of this project, "Ichihara, Happiness. The talk event will be on the subject of "Happiness" of "Engine 01 in Ichihara".
