こんにちはＣＡのサンタモニカカレッジからＮＹＵへのトランスファーを考えています。
入る条件にはＴＯＥＦＬ、ＳＡＴ、エッセイが必要とのことですが日本の大学を中退した人はＳＡＴ免除になると聞いたのですが本当でしょうか？
又ＢＭＣＣに通っているかたで、ＮＹＵに入るにはとらないといけない授業のようなものがあったらなんか教えてください。
どなたかお願いします。

私はGo Phone使ってますよ。先月インターネットで購入しましたが、本体はカメラは付いてませんが$9.99で、しかもハンズフリーのイヤホン、配送代Freeでしたよ。いまはLG社のものがこの価格で出ています。AT&T Wirelessのホームページで申し込めます

Meiqiさん、ありがとうございます。Go Phoneは最低でも毎月＄１９．９９払わないといけないんですよね？ Free2Goって言うのは、本当に必要な時にフォンカードを買って使う携帯なので、Go Phoneのように定期的な支払も発生しないので、なかなか安い携帯電話を探すことができないんですよ。 やっぱ、AT&TWirelessで、＄５９で買うしかないんですかねぇ？私の場合定期的に携帯電話を使う予定が無いので。Free2Goの方が向いてるんですよね。 教えてください。安い所．

私は$39.99/monthで夜間と週末にUnlimitedがついてるプランを利用しています。プリペイドで私も色々調べたのですが、AT&TのGo Phoneが一番安かったので決めたんです。プランはやはり使用頻度、目的にあったものが言いと思われますので、色々比較してじっくり検討したほうがいいと思いますよ。

今年の１２月にコミュニティーカレッジを卒業して、ＯＰＴで就職活動をしようと思っています。
１年間ＯＰＴで働いた後、就労ビザを取得しようと考えているのですが、短大卒で就労ビザを取得するのは、とても困難だと聞きました。
私は２１歳で、日本の高校を卒業してすぐに留学したので、正社員として日本で働いていた経験、実務経験がありません。
同じような状況で就労ビザを取得した方がいらっしゃいましたら、是非アドバイスをいただきたいです。

私は、６月に短大を卒業して、今OPTで働いています。短大卒で就労ビザを獲得するのは、困難なのではなく。無理なようです。 短大卒では就労ビザを取得する資格が及ばないそうです。せめて、４年制を卒業していないと駄目なようですよ。 ４年制を卒業していたとしても、自分の専攻分野の仕事でないとビザの発行はして頂けないので、本当に厳しい世界です。私は今現在のOPTで、出来る限りの経験を積む事のみを考えて仕事をしています。４年制に進む事を考えてみるのも一つの手だと思いますよ。

どなたかアセラエキスプレスのファーストクラスに乗られたことがある方はいらっしゃいますでしょうか。１２月にニューヨークからボストンへ日本から来る母と一泊旅行をしようと思っています。せっかくなので、ちょっと高いけどアセラエキスプレスのファーストクラスに乗ろうかと思っていますが、旅行記などを読んでもファーストクラスについてはあまり情報がありません。もしご存知でしたら教えてください。

VerizonのDSL

VerizonのDSLをひこうとおもっているのですが、これはリモートになるソフトウェアをインストールしないと使えないものなのでしょうか？
そのまま、PCにつなげるものなのでしょうか？（例えば、ダイアル回線と同じような感じで・・・）
きっと初歩的な質問すぎると思いますが、どなたかご存知の方がいたら教えてください

ソフトウェアは、インストールしなくても自分で設定できますよ。
コントロールパネル→ネットワークとインターネットの接続→インターネット接続のセットアップや変更を行う→「接続」タブ→追加ボタンです。

メールの設定も簡単です。
POP3がincoming.verizon.net
SMTPがoutgoing.verizon.net
でOKです。
アカウントのプロパティのサーバーのタブに"My server required authentication"とあるので、ここをチェック。
しかーし、Verizonは使っていますが、サポートがよくないので、もし他のDSLを選べるのだったら、考えてみては？
モデムが故障しても、変なトラブルシューティングをやらされ、それでもだめだったら、電話のラインのせいにされ、「電話会社に連絡しろ」と言われます。
おなじVerizonの電話会社は、「うちではそんなの知らん」と請合ってくれません。
うちは、Verizonしか使えないので、しょうがなく使っています。

今年の５月にCAの4大を国際関係メジャーで卒業し、１月からドキュメンタリーfilmingの基礎を勉強するためにNYUのSCPS（School of Continuing Professional Studies）のクラスかIntensiveのクラスを取ろうかと思案中です。
New York Film Academy、School of Visual Art、Columbia Uni.、New Schoolも考えたのですが、NYUが一番評判良しとのことで行く予定です。（Admi.の対応は感じ悪かったけど…）１２週間で＄７０１０くらいで高いですが、終わったら資格をもらえます。
もしクラス取った方がいたら、どんな雰囲気で資格を取った後どのような業界でみなさん働くか教えてもらえませんか？自腹を切らなきゃいけないのでちょっとまだ不安で…同じSCPSのビジネス系のクラスも取っておこうかと思ってます。日本の企業に受けそうだしね。なんでもいいので情報お願いします！
