I am a Fort Lee resident. I found out once before that a person from Korea used my address without my permission and later used my address without my permission to receive welfare benefits. And please do not invite people you do not know well to your house or premises.

Trial for amendment of Article 11 of the Nationality Law
Under the current Japanese Nationality Law, a person "automatically" loses Japanese nationality if he/she voluntarily acquires the nationality of another country.
Now, plaintiffs residing in Switzerland and other countries are fighting in court to amend this. I think this is an important trial for those of us living in the US.
There is a petition campaign on change.org to amend Article 11 of the Nationality Law. Currently, about 43,000 votes have been collected, but it would be great if more people would sign the petition. The next trial will be held in September. By the way, I am an individual and not a member of this association.

I live in the United States. I have removed my certificate of residence in Japan, but left my shares deposited in an account at a Japanese brokerage firm.
