We are pleased to announce that on May 7 （ Tuesday ） at 6 p.m., the Nippon Club Mixed Chorus Club, now in its second year of existence, will hold its first free open class. Everyone is welcome to attend for free and no sheet music is required.

The class will feature Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony," which has become a Japanese tradition at the end of the year, and a section where even complete beginners can experience it, as well as simple Japanese songs that karaoke lovers can also sing. This open class will be taught by Ms. Reana Ito （ ）, the first Japanese winner of the "American Prize" and selected as one of the "21 Top Japanese Conductors" （ Shinko Music ） and others, and accompanied by Ms. Yurika Mihara, accompanist at The Juilliard School and others. Mr. Ito said, "I have never performed the Ninth before. Mr. Ito said, "I would like people who know nothing about the Ninth to experience it, even if only once.

The Nippon Club Mixed Chorus Club was newly established last spring with Mr. Ito as its artistic director, following the dissolution of its predecessor women's chorus. Under the careful guidance of a team of professional musicians from renowned music universities, the club has performed at the UN Delegation and other venues in its first year of existence. In the future, the group aims to perform at Carnegie Hall and the United Nations.

Reana Ito （ Artistic Director ・ Conductor ）
George ・ graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in International Relations. He studied conducting at the Juilliard School of Music, including evening courses, and received his M.M. from the Aaron ・ Copeland School of Music. 2008 Professional debut in New York, followed by performances at Carnegie Hall and elsewhere. 2014 "The American Prize" for musicians in the United States https://linktr.ee/reonaito

Ms. Yurika Mihara （ Piano Accompaniment ）
She completed her Master and Professional ・ Diploma ・ courses at the Manes Conservatory College. Since her childhood, she has won various competitions
and prizes, and has made guest appearances all over the world, including with the Turgum Lech Symphony Orchestra in Romania. She has released a CD of works by Chopin and others on the Italian label Sheva Collection
. He has served as accompanist at the Juilliard School and the Mannes School of Music.
