家賃（Studioで場所はマンハッタンから１時間以内で通えるところ）、食費（自炊が中心）、等で１ヶ月いくらかかりますか？ＮＹに住んでみたいので計画を立てています。アドバイスお願いします。

家賃500交通費50食費200
自炊頑張れば800でもいけます。
900くらいあればたまに外食したりフリーマーケットでお買い物もできるんじゃないかな。

NYに住んでみたいって、マンハッタンとそれ以外では倍以上違うんじゃない？！ちなみにマンハッタンはStudioでもドアマンつきは＄1800以上は当たり前だと思いますけど。

現在ロンドンに住んでいるのですが、ギャップイヤーを利用してマンハッタンに1年間、もしくはそのまま大学までアメリカで過ごそうと考えています。私も生活費について気になるのですが、基本的にマンハッタン（高級なエリア、どこ？）ではフラット（アパート？）を愛人や友人とシェアするのが一般的なのでしょうか？ロンドンだとほとんどの人がシェアで自分の部屋は大して広くも無いなのに月1600ドル以上します。もちろんもっと安い家（郊外・治安のよくないエリア）もありますが、日本人にとっては考えられないようなボロイ狭い小汚いので私は住めません。それから大学生で友達とシェアしている先輩に食費について聞いてみたら、自炊で一回のスーパーマーケットでも買い物で50ドル以上して、その買い物を週に3，4回するようです。とにかく物価が高いので親元から離れて一人暮らしをロンドンでするのは苦しいです。外食でも最低30ドルから。。日本食だと2人で400ドルくらいします。
またどのように家を探しますか？ロンドンと同じようにインターネットや生活情報誌ですかね？治安も気になります。あと発音ですよね。あれでおそらく脳が絡まるような気がします。ニューヨーカーの特徴やイギリス人・イギリスとの違いなど、なにか皆さんが渡米前と後で気づいた経験など教えてください。おねがいします。

実はこの秋にＮＹ旅行を計画していまして、その際のミュージカルの予約は自力で、ticketmasterを使って行おうと決めて購入しました。
しかし･･･何をバカをやったのか、ＮＹではなくＦＬのオペラ座の怪人のチケットを買ってしまいました。何でちゃんと確認しなかったのか後悔でいっぱいです。
確認メールによるとキャンセルはできないようなんです。
どなたか、売る方法や、キャンセルできる方法をご存知でしたら教えていただけないでしょうか？
かなり困ってます。お願いします！！
