CAからNYUへトランスファー

私は今、カリフォルニアのコミュニティーカレッジで学んでいるのですが、卒業後の進路はニューヨーク大学にトランスファーをしたいと考えております。しかしながらカリフォルニアとニューヨークのGEのシステムは全く異なると聞きました。ニューヨーク大学の要求するGEを見てみたのですがUnitではなくPointなのでそのあたりもよくわかりません。そこで、どなたかカリフォルニアのコミュニティーカレッジからニューヨーク大学へトランスファーされた方、どのような教科がニューヨーク大学で認められたのか詳しく教えて頂けませんか？因に、私はFilm and Televisionにトランスファーをしようと考えております。

私の知っている中では、東海岸の大学は、西海岸の４年制ユニバーシティのように2年制カレッジからの編入の習慣が整っていないので、４年制ユニバーシティに願書を提出し、１年生として入学すると聞きましたが。。。
