アメリカでの日本語ソフト使用についての質問

アメリカで購入したMacintosh(OS X)に日本語のソフトやフォントを入れてデザインを制作する際には問題なくできるのでしょうか？
USバージョンのAdobe IllustratorやQuarkXpressがすでに私のマックに入っており日本語バーションとグリッチしないか心配です。
またフォントが英語とまざって文字化けするといった可能性もあるのでしょうか？
誰かアジアのソフトに詳しい方、どういったset upが一番良いのか知っていたら教えてください。
