Japanese Calligraphy Courses at the Japan Society Language Center

Join us for a calligraphy class where you can learn in both English and Japanese ？

The class will teach you the basics of writing and its applications, the significance and explanation of each tool, the correct posture that is the foundation of calligraphy, and you can also work on creative works. This semester we offer both online and in-person （ in-person ） classes. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, please feel free to join us.

With the motto "Calligraphy is from the heart, beautiful calligraphy is from a beautiful heart", we hope that more and more people will learn calligraphy.

① Shodo for Beginners 10 sessions
Fridays January 31 - April 4

② Shodo Basic Kanji 10 times

③ Shodo Kanji 10 times
